Mobile Membership

After an extensive review of our membership operations, due to Covid-19 and market research results, we have decided to go ‘mobile’ on all memberships. This will make us one of the first professional sporting clubs in Australia to go fully mobile, following the lead of other international sporting clubs. The reasons for this change are as follows:

  1. To comply with new health guidelines for safe stadium entry, including contact tracing
  2. Easier access and convenience
  3. Complexities with timing of the fixture due to Covid-19, that impacts the ability to deliver plastic membership cards in time
  4. Benefits the club through cost savings, while also enabling juniors to have better quality membership packs
  5. Reduce unnecessary plastic

Members can request delivery of a member pack which includes a souvenir card and bumper sticker HERE. All members will also receive a mobile membership pack direct to your email address. Your mobile membership pack will still include all the great member benefits you are used to receiving, but with the convenience of accessing everything on your mobile. All family members can request a member pack and will each will receive their own mobile membership pack via email. Junior membership packs will include printable activities and games specific for their age group. Please note, Future Roos members will receive their member items in the mail as normal.

When accessing mobile membership cards, families will be able to access all cards via the same device.

All members will still receive their 2022 member-choice item. AFL members will have the choice of a Roo Shop voucher or scarf and AFLW members will have the choice of a tote bag, AFLW cap or a Roo Shop voucher. The Roo Shop voucher will be sent electronically, shortly after you join or renew. The member cap or tote bag can be collected at a North Melbourne home game (Victorian and Tasmanian based members only) or via the club. Interstate members who select the tote bag as their member choice item will have this posted to them free of charge. Find out more information about member choice.

Member scarfs will be available for collection at all North Melbourne home games in 2022 for our Melbourne and Tasmanian based members. More information on how to request your scarf to be shipped will be communicated in your mobile member pack.

Interstate members who select the scarf as their member choice item will have this posted to them free of charge.

Pending the lifting on Victorian Government restrictions, we are hoping to give members the option to collect their 2021 member choice item in the coming months. Please make sure your email is subscribed, so you receive membership updates to ensure you receive further information. Yes! simply request a member pack HERE and we will post a pack to you which includes a souvenir member card showing you are a 2022 member, and a 2022 member bumper sticker. If you would like a 2022 member bumper sticker, but don't want to request a pack, you will be able to collect this from the Club, Roo Shop, or home games from January 2022.

Members will be able to access their membership card through their MyKangaroos membership account. Members must have a valid email address linked to their account to be able to access their mobile card. If you do not have an email address, please contact Membership Services on 1300 526 427 and one of our membership team members will discuss with you your options.
