1st Year Member FAQ

Your membership number, or account ID is a unique number that is 7 digits that can be located in your Member account, or at the bottom of any emails you receive. It corresponds to your account number on the Club database.

Your membership barcode is a 12-digit number and will change each season, or when you are issued a new card. You can choose to opt in for a member pack, including a card HERE

ACCESS MEMBERSHIP
This Membership consists of a 12-digit barcode that allows you to enter games throughout the season. Access members also receive priority access to purchasing finals tickets should Richmond participate.

NON-ACCESS MEMBERSHIP
Non-access memberships (i.e. Roo Supporter, Baby Joey, FutureRoos Clinic & Merch ONLY, Digital Roo and International Roo) do not receive a 12-digit barcode and therefore are ineligible to purchase priority finals tickets should North Melbourne participate.

Members have the option to receive either a physical membership card or a digital membership card, which will be your entry into the game!

Please note that the standard dispatch time for a member pack from opt in, is approximately 3-4 weeks.

If you require assistance on Game Days, Membership enquiries will be set up at the Club Hub for all Home games, located in guest services at gate 5.

If you fall in the following membership tiers you will automatically receive a membership package.

-Future Roos

-International Roo

-WA Roo (Only if based in WA*)

Yes, we love extended the North Melbourne family! However, the membership must be purchased in the recipient’s name. Additional details required include the recipient’s address, contact number, email and date of birth. Feel free to contact the North Melbourne Membership Team and we can set this up for you to ensure we don’t ruin the surprise!

The First Year Member Event is an exclusive event to welcome our first-year members to the club! The event is different every year to accommodate to our first-year member group and different levels of interest. This event is typically held in the second half of the season, and the invitation is sent digitally, so please keep an eye on your emails!

The cheer squad is run externally to the North Melbourne Football Club. For all enquiries, including how to join the cheer squad, please contact them via the details below:

Members will be able to use their $30 voucher to redeem the traditional member item via the Roo Shop online or instore, or use this credit towards another Roo Shop purchase. You will receive this via email, approx. 72 hours after your membership purchase. This cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer, vouchers cannot be stacked and vouchers expire on the 31^st October 2026.

If you wish to redeem this credit at the Roo Shop at Arden Street or on Game Day, simply bring in the email with the voucher code to a Roo Shop outlet at Marvel Stadium, and we will be able to process your credit in store. Please note we cannot process your Member Choice item without your voucher code from the email. We strongly recommend redeeming this online with free shipping to avoid the long lines on game day.

The best way to meet the players is to attend our open trainings! There will be an opportunity to have your items signed post-training.
